Don’t get my wrong, I’ve grown in many ways over the years. I’ve grown as a strength coach, business owner, writer, listener, entrepreneur, bodybuilder and more importantly, a person.

Last Saturday marked my 29th Birthday, not a milestone by “Birthday Standards” but it meant a great deal to me.
It was my third birthday since leaving nearly 7 years as a “personal trainer” behind and venturing out in my quest to run my own fitness business. That was some 29 months and 8 days ago though I still remember it like it was yesterday.

It’s crazy to think that a little over 6 months ago, I was in the hospital having emergency surgery for appendicitis.
It was the early afternoon of January 3rd, 2010 I started to experience ridiculous pains in my lower abdominal region. I figured it was just from watching my boy Wes Welker tear his ACL and MCL, during the Patriots final regular season against the Houston Texans. After all, I am super passionate about my Boston sports teams, my boxer’s name is Bruschi, and seeing that in the final game of the season, didn’t help!
If the “why” is big enough then we can always find the “how.”
