I’ve known about Dr. Joe Klemczewski since 2006 and first met Joe in January of 2010 at a Nancy Andrews Bodybuilding Seminar where we both happened to be presenting. I was simply kicking everyone’s ass in a boot camp session where Joe was talking about General Population Fat Loss and Perfect Peaking to the competitors in attendance.

I can tell you from the time I’ve started in this industry, I’ve worked hard at being true to who I am.

 

Don’t get my wrong, I’ve grown in many ways over the years. I’ve grown as a strength coach, business owner, writer, listener, entrepreneur, bodybuilder and more importantly, a person.

29 Lessons in 29 Months

Last Saturday marked my 29th Birthday, not a milestone by “Birthday Standards” but it meant a great deal to me.

 

It was my third birthday since leaving nearly 7 years as a “personal trainer” behind and venturing out in my quest to run my own fitness business. That was some 29 months and 8 days ago though I still remember it like it was yesterday.

The Reinvention

It’s crazy to think that a little over 6 months ago, I was in the hospital having emergency surgery for appendicitis.

It was the early afternoon of January 3rd, 2010 I started to experience ridiculous pains in my lower abdominal region. I figured it was just from watching my boy Wes Welker tear his ACL and MCL, during the Patriots final regular season against the Houston Texans. After all, I am super passionate about my Boston sports teams, my boxer’s name is Bruschi, and seeing that in the final game of the season, didn’t help!
